Based on the video that we just watched on the American Revolution, i learned that the british thought that all men were not born equally and that the french helped the americans win the war. They eventually a document was created. This document was called The declaration of independence. This ment that all men were born equally. Because the americans won the war we as americans became independent.9.21.10Today I learned that really the only thing that happened in the french revolution was you were starved to death or you were just killed. The national anthem states that we will get revenge for the hurt that we all been through.

SUMMARY OF WHY KING LOUIS XVI WAS EXECUTED
King Louis XVIwas a bankrupt ,no good peroson who when became king. The economy spiraled down ward. More than 50% of the french population became unemployed. Crops failed, food soared , nobody was happy. He got married to Marie who became the prime source of there problems. People were starving, and when more than half the population is starving they will kill to eat. The people were also sick of being ruled by absolute rulers. They put him on trial and found him guilty of crimes to the people, or crimes against humanity as we call it today.
Xenophobia- people who are scared of others from another country.
Maximillien Robespierre- was the first man to try and grab the power of leadership after king louis xvi was executed. The only way to prove you werent a trader was if you said someone else was. He mad everyone lose trust in each other.
What do you do to over come Maximillien?
You come to him saying that hes a trader by having him sign with the british. The guy who with the paper Jonh Paul Maraet became the next king. But he was no better. So because he had a horrible skin condiotion he couldnt really get out of the bath. So the people bribed his maid to kill him. She stabbed him 25 times.
Reign of terror- because everyone was scared.
Napleanon was called the first dictator. Everyone thought he was short. He was 5'8" but they expected a dictator to be alot bigger. It was really hard to be scared of nthis man who was 5'8" with a cracked squicky voice so they could take him serious. He acted like a little kid bgut he actually was really smart.

He wanted to restore the balance of power and make europe peaceful, restore old monarchies and compensate the allies for there losses.
The congress of Vienna was a grand meeting or plan to restore order and stability to europe after the Napleonic Wars.
What did I learn?
Today i learned that the congress of vienna was this huge plan and or meeting to restoe things. The 700 diplomats went to this meeting to try and restoire order and stbility to there country or europe after the napoleonic wars.
